Senior Portrait of American Idol's Victoria Huggins by Woody Bowen

I had the pleasure this year of photographing one of our region's most beautiful, popular and talented singers,   Victoria Huggins.  She is a home-schooled senior this year, tutored by her amazing and also beautiful Manager/Mom, Beverley.   At age 15 Victoria maturely MC'd our Robeson County Humane Society Gospel Sing held at the Givens Performing Arts Center at UNCP.

You'll agree with me how adorable and  poised she looks,  but if you think you're impressed by that wait until you hear her perform.  If you get a chance to see this young artist, don't pass up the chance.  I'll soon pass on her website information and a list of her upcoming concerts. 

January 25, 2011.  Wow!  Victoria is going to California.  And we think she has a great chance of being THE AMERICAN IDOL.  The American Idol organization wants not only contestants who are attractive and can sing, but those who are also witty and smart and can represent the AI organization positively.  They now know what this Lumberton NC gal can do for them.    Her quick response to the comment about her skirt length showed her keen  and cool intelligence under fire and  demonstrated her genuine beliefs about how a sincere Christian lady should behave.   When Victoria made the familiar sign to Randy Jackson and followed with "YO YO DOG",  Jackson said "She's got every trick in the book."  Well, y'all, it's no trick.  It's just Victoria.  We love her and we thank her and her organization (her Mom and Dad) for being a positive example for the young people everywhere.  Make no mistate, this is Victoria's Dream.  This is what she has wanted to do for her lifetime.  Get ready to vote because we predict she is going LIVE  pretty soon on American Idol.
